Gabi Kosik, born in Vienna, graduated in dance, vocal and theater performance at the “Studio Theater-Vienna“, followed by 2 years of vocal jazz education with Elly Wright.
Her studies were completed by classic vocal education with Prof. Sebastian Vittucci.
She had her debut at the Opera in Graz as Evita, followed by Sally Bowles in “Cabaret“, Bianca in “Kiss Me Kate“, Chrissie in “Hair“, Anne in “La Cage aux Follles“ and Minnie Fay in “ Hello Dolly“.
She successfully performed in “High Society“, “Anatevka“, “My Fair Lady“, “West Side Story“, “Little Shop of Horrors“, “The Barbecue“, “Simba“, “The Wizard Of Oz“, “Funny Girl“, “Godspell“, “Nonsense“ und “Me, Marlene“.
Together with the Pepe Lienhard Bigband she performed as Marilyn in “A Tribute to Marilyn“.
Her solo programs „Klein But Strong“ and “Flower Power“ were so successful that she went on tour for two years each. Thereafter she could be seen in “BBQ for Two“, „Mörderlieder“ and „Zwillinge-Revue“.
Her latest program „Ich bin ein Star und andere Widrigkeiten“ is on stage right now.
Her repertoire varies from Musical, Viennese Songs (Wienerlieder), Chanson, Pop and Rock, Bossa Nova, to Jazz Standard .
She has an outstanding reputation across Europe and her concerts and tours took her all over Germany to Athens, Greece.
